Community Corner

C.A.R.E. Fall Dog Wash

The Community Animal Rescue Effort's Fall Dog Wash is just around the corner. Dog scrubbers and dryers--all C.A.R.E. volunteers--will gather from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.,  Saturday, Sept. 8, to wash dogs on shelter grounds at 2310 Oakton in Evanston.

For the modest price of $10-per-canine (regardless of size), you will be able to bring home a sparkly clean hound. An additional $10 will get their nails trimmed, too. Such a deal!

Money raised at the Dog Wash is used supports the homeless dogs and cats at the Community Animal Rescue Effort.
