Adeline’s Room is owned and operated by Christine Kim, who relocated the business from Chicago/Main Street district for client convenience and a larger space. “Our mission is to provide the best products for babies and moms, help women connect and offer access to important information when starting a family,” Kim said.

The store sells everything a new mom could need: clothes, books, diaper caddies, nursing bras and more.  The ever-popular baby carrier is even loaned to mom and baby for a comfort test drive prior to purchase. In addition, a variety of classes and “Meet Ups” are held at Adeline’s Room including Prenatal Yoga and Breastfeeding Clinics where new moms can drop in and find answers. In addition ongoing free gatherings (Meet-Ups) are scheduled throughout the month. Registration for events is available on the website www.adelinesroom.com.

Adeline’s Room founder Christine Kim encountered a number of amazing professional women who struggled with challenging decisions around their careers, lifestyles and growing families. Through these encounters, Christine recognized the need for a space that helps and supports women as they go through the significant life transition of starting a family. And in November 2009 Adeline’s Room was born. Adeline’s Room is open: Monday through Saturday 10am to 6pm; phone is 847-859-2312; www.adelinesroom.com.
