Community Support Day with Ten Thousand Villages in Evanston

Ten Thousand Villages in Evanston is a local non-profit sourcing hand-made artisan products from craftsmen and women in the least developed areas of the world, creating sustainable business opportunities and generating income for those most in need. Join us at Whole Foods Market-Downtown Evanston on Wednesday, when dedicated staff and volunteers from Ten Thousand Villages will be on-site all day to answer your questions and share stories from their years of Fair Trade business.

As Ten Thousand Villages in Evanston celebrates its 15th year supporting Fair Trade relationships in 38 countries, the local non-profit also prepares for its 2013 Learning Tour. The Learning Tour enables staff members to travel to meet artisan partners in their home countries and share the experience with the Evanston community upon their return, raising awareness for and promoting Fair Trade business.
