"Cop on Top" Evanston Police Officers Raising Money for Special Olympics

The Evanston Police Department will be holding its annual "Cop on Top" event to raise money for the Illinois Special Olympics. The event will be held Friday, May 20th from  6 a.m. until noon at the Dunkin Donuts located at 1900 Dempster St.

The goal for “COP on TOP” is for officers to secure contributions for every hour they are perched atop the Dunkin Donuts. The officers will remain on the roof of the Dunkin Donuts regardless of weather conditions. Patrons of the Dunkin Donuts will be asked by support staff for contributions, all of which goes to support Special Olympics.

Additionally, Special Olympics T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats will be for sale. Come out and support law enforcement's efforts to raise money for the Illinois Special Olympics.

This event is sponsored by Dunkin Donuts and the Evanston Police Department.
