PHOTOS: 'Boss' Films At Evanston's Nichols Concert Hall

Cast and crew for the Starz drama were in Evanston all day Monday, filming the second season of the political drama "Boss," which is set in Chicago and stars Kelsey Grammer.

Rolling costume racks, catering trucks and trailers lined up outside Nichols Concert Hall Monday for filming of the Starz show 'Boss.'

A crew transformed the 's auditorium into the setting of a political debate for taping of one episode of the second season. Set in Chicago, the show focuses on the powerful character of Mayor Tom Kane, played by Kelsey Grammer.

While Grammer was not on site Monday, several major cast members were present, including Kathleen Robertson, Jeff Hephner, Troy Garity, Nicole Forester and Amy Morton, according to publicist Amanda Brand.

Brand said that producers scouted several different locations for the staging of the political debate before choosing the Music Institute of Chicago's Nichols Concert Hall. Filming was scheduled for just one day and wrapped up late Monday.

Formerly Christ Church of Scientology, the Music Institute has operated the building at 1490 Chicago Avenue since 2003, according to director of community engagement Deirdre Harrison.
