Baby Dolphin Born at Brookfield Zoo

Tapeko, a 31-year-old dolphin at the Brookfield Zoo, gave birth to a 40-pound, 3.5-foot male dolphin calf on Wednesday, Oct. 16, the Chicago Zoological Society announced Thursday.

Wife Honors Husband by Discussing His Suicide, Helping Others

Mike Pikowski was an Oak Park businessman who was an active parent volunteer and a “dynamic, outgoing and fun guy.” He also had a mental illness, his wife Jennifer Pikowski said.
