What's the Best Preschool in Evanston?

You've got only one day left to vote for your favorite. Help inform your neighbors by weighing in on this week's Readers' Choice question.

When it comes to choosing who to care for and teach your little ones, you want to know that they're in good hands.

That's why we're asking readers to share your opinions on Evanston's preschools in this week's Readers' Choice article so that anyone looking for a school can read what those of you with experience have to say.

Please vote in the poll below, and even better, leave a review in our business directory of your favorite spots so that other parents can benefit from your wisdom when they're searching the site in the future.

SLC has been a fantastic experience for our 3 year old...elated that she has another year there. Such a fantastic teaching team and an outstanding community.

Very true. Would love to see all these schools get some publicity.

Child care center of Evanston is THE BEST. Great child care providers and teachers. My son was so prepared for kindergarten

Next time, It might be more useful to readers to gather opinions on why a certain preschool is the best for their particular child/family. Each school has strengths, focuses, philosophies and no size fits all.

Hi Karen, We absolutely want to get that information on the site, and I agree that it would be very useful. That's why we're encouraging readers to click through on the name of their preferred school and write a full review. That way, when future readers come to the site they'll be able to read full, nuanced reports of the experiences people have had at the different schools. We also take those reviews into account in determining a winner. We know the poll on its own isn't the way to determine this, but we hope it sparks some good conversation on the site and in the reviews on individual listings so that parents can benefit from all of your insights.
