Right now, we are in the thick of Winter in Evanston, Illinois, but before we know it, Spring will be upon us. With Spring comes April showers to wash away any snow that has accumulated over the normally brutal Illinois winters. These rain showers not only help to restore green to our Evanston backyards, but they also bring life to trees and flowers that were dormant for most of the Winter. The 'People for Rain' movement was started in 2012 to turn rainy days into fun and memorable experiences. It's a movement where members can share their favorite rainy day stories and get ideas for new activities that they can take part in on those wet and windy days.
