Christmas Tree Safety Tips

Stay safe this holiday season.

Christmas trees cause about 240 fires every year, according to FEMA. Keep your family safe by following these easy tips from the National Fire Prevention Association:

-Check that the lights you are using are for indoor use. Don't use outdoor lights on an indoor tree.

-Be careful of the string of lights you've kept in the family for years. If the lights are worn and heavily used, it may be time to buy some new ones.
