IWSE Centennial Celebration a Smashing Success!

The Infant Welfare Society of Evanston (IWSE) welcomed more than 175 guests to their Centennial Celebration on Monday, November 4, 2013 at FOUND Kitchen and Social House.  The capacity crowd enjoyed the cuisine of one of the hottest restaurants on the North Shore while celebrating IWSE’s 100 years of service to at-risk children and families in Evanston and the surrounding suburbs.

Attendees were treated to an impressive exhibit chronicling IWSE’s history as well as the unveiling of a new video highlighting the impact of IWSE’s early education and family support programs.  The evening culminated in IWSE Executive Director Cass Wolfe’s announcement of a special gift:  The Infant Welfare Society of Evanston is the recipient of a $50,000 donation from the Jadel Youth Fund to seed an endowment which will help ensure IWSE’s next 100 years of addressing the needs of our community.

In addition to the endowment gift, the festive evening raised more than $55,000 to support
