IWSE is a 100 year-old, highly-respected nonprofit social service organization which focuses on the needs of the youngest, neediest members of our community.  We provide high-quality National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredited full-day child care and early education services, as well as supportive services and parenting support almost exclusively focused on children under three years of age.  Since 1984 IWSE has provided comprehensive developmental screenings and intervention services to children age 6 weeks to 5 years old who are at risk for developmental delays, poor health outcomes, social challenges, and future academic struggles.  By offering education and support to families who are living at risk and parenting infants and toddlers, IWSE acts as an advocate, care-taker, and champion for children who live in poverty, who exhibit developmental delays, who live in situations of homelessness or domestic violence, or who are parented by teen parents.
