Meet CARE Pup Hooper: Smart, Friendly & Eager To Learn

Hooper is a smart, eager and outgoing young dog. He's currently living with a C.A.R.E. foster family, where he enjoys obedience training, playtime with the other resident dogs and plenty of cuddles.

Hooper says, "I’m a social pup who loves people and dogs. I’m polite with older dogs but am confident enough to let even a 100-lb Rottweiler pup know when he’s being too tough on me. I’ve got a bit of a rough-and-rowdy play style so I might be too active for a home with a submissive dog.

Hoops has a quiet side, too. "I’ll settle right down when you ask me to. I’m extra happy when I can cuddle next to you on the couch or lay at your feet when you’re using a computer. Manners-wise, I’m crate-trained and housebroken. I’m a smart youngster who already knows the command ‘sit’ by both verbal and hand cue, plus I know how to sit for my food bowl and treats. I’m also doing very well with loose-leash walking and eye contact games."

Here's a YouTube video link showing Hooper being trained during one of his walks.
