(Barely) Controlled Chaos!

Hi all!  I'm Jenn, working mom, supportive wife, beleagured pet owner, facebook and caffeine addict.  I suspect I am not alone here.  I hope you will enjoy these tales of my triumphs, fobiles and exploits as much I enjoy telling them.

A little about the family: My husband Mike is allegedly finishing his degree at Columbia College in Television Production and Direction in May.  Finally. My kids, Jake, Abby, Aidan and Harry, are all students in Evanston schools and it wouldn't surprise me if you already know them.  Apparently they are lovely for strangers. In case our home wasn't crowded enough, there is also Nibbles the Amazing Guinea Pig and Maria the Wonder Cat.  I am pretty sure Nibbles is a very old soul as he tolerates a great deal of indiginty at the hands, er paws, of Maria, who was born without eyes. 

The kids range in age from sophmore in high school to kindergarten.  Yes, that means I have 4 kids in 3 schools.  And they wonder why my kids never turn in their permission slips on time.  I'm lucky I know where everyone belongs on any given day. 

Oh, and I have a home based direct sales business.  Because I needed something to do with my "spare time".  So, please, have fun witnessing my attempts to control the chaos that is my family!
