Dr. Michael Burry's commencement at UCLA/Economics reveals much as he warns the grads should they choose to enter unholy world of the government/wall street cabal.
Dr. Michael J. Burry left medicine and became an investor. Turns out this was a real gift as he started asking questions in 2005 and by 2008 made his fortune by betting against America. Hmmm, too bad the guys in charge weren't smart enough to warn the rest of us of the coming bust. Remember Ben Bernanke telling you the subprime problem would be contained? Amazingly, we still look to these charlatans and liars, oops, I mean Federal Reserve and Treasury Department heads when planning our portfolios. (Hint, ignore mainstream media when making financial plans.) By the way, after the crisis, Dr. Burry's requests for dialogue with the powers that be were met with harrassment from the IRS, which found no wrong doing on his part, but which wasted your precious tax dollars, dear reader, and brought us further down this dark road of absurdity and despair. Ah, but take heart, there's an election coming, and aren't we just so lucky....I'm sure this time will be different.
