Fiscal Cliff...ok, yeah, uh huh. Got it.

A warning from Dennis Kucinich, and some ideas for helping you to navigate your parachute as we go over the proverbial cliff.

The FISCAL CLIFF is a manufactured crisis.

Just like WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION served to fool us into invading Iraq...

...Just as THE WAR ON DRUGS keeps the lucrative drug trade safely in the hands of the military industrial complex through the CIA and too-big-to-fail money laundering banks (currently HSBC is being fined, er..slapped on the wrist for drug money shenanigans...notice how these guys NEVER serve time...that's just for those dangerous drug users.)

....Just as THE WAR ON TERROR and 911 enabled Bush and Obama to enact (respectively) the Patriot Act and the NDAA, to strip us of all legal rights and send our young soldiers out to create havoc throughout the Middle East while destroying their own bodies and psyches.  Note that suicides now outnumber combat deaths among our military.

Ok...you get the picture.  Not pretty.   Let's move on now...and lay a new path into the future.

In the past, if we heard something often enough out of the mouths of our favorite celebrities, meaning journalists and politicians...then we swallowed it, hook, line and sinker.  We are now growing past this naive approach to understanding the world we live in.

At some point we will finally understand how the "fiscal cliff" was actually a done deal back in 2008 when Hank Paulson was Treasury Secretary and threatened a clueless congress with utter economic collapse if they didn't agree to bail out the too-big-to fail banks.  (Note also, that these banks have become bigger, not smaller since 2008.)

We will understand how we were duped, with the help of the corporate-owned media, into thinking "housing always goes up" and entering a housing market that was actually a bubble designed to trap us via the American Dream and our own misguided greed and belief in getting something for nothing.  We will understand how the markets are manipulated through high speed trading, and impossible to understand maneuvers in a futures market totally unfettered by the CFTC or any other agency that's supposedly "regulating" anything.

Now, when enough people have reached the end of their rope, many will demand to be saved or taken care of by the criminals that created this mess.  I will not be one of them.  I will stand with those who say "NO."  No to the draconian laws that seek to institutionalize fear and destroy liberty, freedom and any sense of hope in this country. No to the centralized power of the central banking system. No to the politicians controlled by them. No to the bubble-headed media models who get well paid to sell you on their lies. No to what we now call education...teaching to the test, thereby stripping our children of any chance of being able to become anything but group-think, state-schooled, TV and pop-culture-addicted yes-men and women, unable to think for themselves.  Critical thinking and creativity are needed now more than ever, in order to create a world where power is not centralized, and where people accept that power lies within them, not in governments, military or banking institutions.  No to the "health" industry's profit-driven and harmful drugs, vaccines, and psycho-making chemicals.  No to Monsanto's GM crops designed to withstand their toxic herbicides and infest crop land throughout the entire planet with their "patented" seeds they shoot up with DNA from viruses, bacteria, animals and humans.

We must say NO!  Then, and only then, we will be able to bring an end to this insanity...or...the world as we know it.  A world where central banking, warring, and environmental destruction have engaged in a seamless, and seemingly endless, embrace.

That said, thankfully, nothing lasts forever...except for love, of course, though, I get that's a hard concept to hang onto in days such as these.  However, to be "in love" is to be conscious.  This is key.

The success of leaders like Ghandi and Martin Luther King, Jr. must inspire us now.  We must not bow down.  We must take a stand...regardless of party, gender, age, nationality or religious affiliation.  If only in our hearts and minds or in our willingness to speak out, write, refusal to listen to mainstream news or place our money in large banking institutions or investment portfolios which contain stocks in companies that are not serving the interests of humans or the planet.

I will offer you some alternative options, should you care to take this step... Lew Rockwell who is at lewrockwell.com, Paul Craig Roberts who is at paulcraigroberts.org and, my very top favorite, Catherine Austin Fitts, former Clinton-era government insider and whistleblower, whose mission is to guide people seeking to invest in ways that decentralize power and provide the means for a healthy, fair, and prosperous world, at solari.com.   Also, Eric King, who posts blogs and conducts interviews with "the top people in the world," meaning guys who have been in the money management business for years and years and all of whom are alarmed at what the people they openly refer to as the "central planners" are doing.  You'll find Eric King at kingworldnews.com.

That said...a bit of rock poetry from the past just caught my attention...

We'll be fighting in the streets, with our children at our feet

And the morals that they worship will be gone

And the men who spurred us on sit in judgment of all wrong

They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution

Take a bow for the new revolution

Smile and grin at the change all around me

Pick up my guitar and play just like yesterday

And I'll get on my knees and pray we don't get fooled again

Don't get fooled again

(The Who)

Now, from Dylan...

Let me ask you one question...Is your money that good?

Will it buy you forgiveness, do you think that it could?

I think you will find, when your death takes its toll

All the money you made, will never buy back your soul.

Bob Dylan...Masters of War.

Now, a word from Dennis Kucinich...the rarest of birds. An honest politician who gets what's going on who's been inside long enough to understand how completely off-track and corrupt our world is. He stands up and says so here.  Clearly, he is warning us.  If I were you, I'd listen.
