"Let me tell you 'bout the birds and the bees"

Honey bees are dying. Sounds like a little thing, but it's HUGE for you, your children, their children, and the planet itself.

Yesterday, I visited naturalist Terrance Ingram, who has raised honey bees in the Galena area for the past 30 or so years.  As you know, honey bees are now dying all accross the planet, raising concerns over the survival of crops, animals and humans, which depend on pollenation for survival.  Stay tuned for some updates on what I learned about the vanishing bee population and the underlying causes regarding this most urgent problem, and visit the GMO WATCH booth this coming weekend at the Custer Street Fair.  Hope to see your there!  GMO stands for genetically modified organisms, which are now in most of the foods you eat.  Get smart, come to our booth at the fair!
