PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN

I want to start a new political party. I'll call it TOTO. Yes, like the dog who pulled back the curtain to reveal the Wizard of Oz.

I don't have the luxury of time today to write much, but I'm providing a link that I think might be of interest to many people.  There is a silent revolution afoot, and though there is still a very hard line and bitter divisiveness between Democrats and Republicans and the "liberal" and "conservative" principles to which they supposedly corelate, there is a growing alternative community which has, more or less, turned its back on the right-left paradigm altogether and the crippling boxed in thinking forced upon the populace by our two party political system, which more and more people tell me has them choosing the "less of two evils."

Habits die hard, and I know it's not easy to leave a paradigm that's such a big part of your thinking, and even your social life.  I'm also reminded of Eckhart Tolle's assessment of the ego's need to identify itself with a group, ideology, or cause.  Therein lies the rub.  That sneaky little ego is not a friend to critical thinking.  Its main goal is to be "right."  It's inflexible, self satisfied, and ultimately self destructive, because life itself demands that we rise above the ego's frightened and limited world view.

In the Wizard of Oz, we had the human challenge outlined in the character of the scarecrow who needed a brain, mental acuity, critical thinking; the tinman who needed a heart, feeling, intuition, connectedness and compassion.  Last but not least, the lion needed courage.  Notice they didn't make it a mouse, or some animal we equate with timidity.  A lion we would normally equate with courage had seemingly lost a central part of his true nature.

I believe our true nature is good.  But we need to exercise courage in order to bring out the good in ourselves.  If we don't move beyond our old divisive paradigms which have us resorting to name calling and demonizing people on the other side of the paradigm, we'll never be able to heal our country or our world. I believe we all want beauty, justice, equity and peace.  I believe, in truth, we're lions and that we too can regain our courage.

There are those among us who are not destined to regain their true nature.  They are destined to be defeated.  They are the ones who feed and profit off of war, pain, chaos and horror.  And guess what.  They don't care if you're a Republican or a Democrat.  All they care about is getting control over you because to them you are a resource.

As some of you know, I write a lot about the banking and monetary system and the Federal Reserve.  My question is when will we start discussing the king pins in this mess, instead of their frontmen, the politicians.  When will we have the courage to wake up?  Maybe it will help to hear from others who have been on the yellow brick road for a while.  A few have even had a look behind the curtain.

It's your choice.  PAY NO ATTENTION TO THE MAN BEHIND THE CURTAIN! Or...tear back the curtain to find the cunning cowards at the helm.
