NU Construction Plans & Evanston's Sacred Public Beachfront Property

Did anyone else feel upset with seeing the Trib's 3/14 story about NU's construction plans at the new Visitor's Center site they built on the lakefront? The pic in the Tribune looked like NU thinks it has purchased most of Clark Street Beach.  Oh No,! Not that, dear City of Evanston, please tell me you haven't sold more easement of our sacred public beachfront for pennies!  In fact, exactly how much public land is being bartered here?
