I'm Going to the White House!

Local nonprofit innovator is invited to speak at the White House.

On September 20, 2012, I will give a short presentation about Benevolent.net at a day-long forum on innovation in philanthropy at the White House! My TED-style talk will allow me to share the power of the Benevolent model with 150 leading thinkers in the world of philanthropy. The audience will include private, community-based, academic, and advocacy-based organizations that support the field of philanthropy.

We can not express how excited we are here at Benevolent! I will have the opportunity to not only highlight Benevolent's work but also the work of our partnering organizations to national leaders and White House Senior Administration officials. Other topics explored for the day long forum will include how philanthropy drives economic recovery, expands opportunity, and strengthens community.

Stay tuned and I will keep you updated about my White House adventure.

Congrats, Megan. That's a great opportunity. Let me know if you need help with presentation graphics but those TED style speakers often work without speaker support. -jf
