Evanston Obituary: Sidney Bierman, Omaha Beach Bronze Star Recipient

Sidney A. Bierman age 91, veteran of WWII Army. Bronze star recipient for Omaha Beach, Battle of the Bulge, Germany, North France and Central Europe. 

Beloved father of Linda (Byron) Chalem. Proud grandfather of Karyn Chalem and Todd (Lisa) Chalem. Caring great-grandfather of Jonah and Griffin Chalem. Dear brother of the late Clara, Bella, Fannie, Dave, Sam, Jack, Manne, Beatrice,  Freddie, Lawrence, Marcella and Aline. Fond uncle and great-uncle of many. 

Memorial service Sunday, March 9, 2:30 PM at Congregation B’nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim, 1201 Lake Cook Rd, Deerfield, IL 60015. Interment private.
