Evanston WWII Survivor Dies at 92

Funeral services will be held Wednesday for Anna Dymczysnki, 92, of Evanston, a World War II survivor.

Anna Dymczysnki, age 92 of Evanston, was born on July 17, 1920, and died on Nov. 2, 2012. The beloved wife of the late Stanley Babula, Anna was a World War II survivor who emigrated to America after the end of the war. She arrived in the U.S. and started her new life in the Chicago area. She worked for several accounting firms in the area and led a very active life. She is survived by her brother and several relatives in Poland.

Memorial Service, Wednesday, November 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Services, 10045 Skokie Boulevard at Old Orchard Road, Skokie, IL 60077.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Athanasius Church, 1615 Lincoln Street, Evanston, IL 60201 or Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, 1140 W. Jackson Boulevard, Chicago, IL 60607.
