Obituary: Arsen R. Demirdjian, 80, Sayat Nova Owner

Arsen Demirdjian died at age 80 on March 26. He was co-owner of Sayat Nova, an Armenian restaurant in downtown Chicago. Demirdjian and his brother, Levon, first opened the restaurant in Rogers Park in 1965.

BIOGRAPHY

Arsen R. Demirdjian, age 80, beloved husband of Karen Demirdjian; loving father of Roupen (Tatiana), Gregory (Jennifer) and the late Armen Demirdjian; dear grandfather of Gabriella, Aram, Van and Judah; brother of Armen (Martha), Levon (Marjorie) and the late Niver (Edward) Tatoulian; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
