John J. Pederson, 87, went to be with the Lord on July 20, 2013. John is survived by Sheila, his wife; children, Sandy (Richard), Bob (Kim), Heather, Kathleen (Todd), Kristen and grandchildren, Cole, Lindsay, Andrew, Megan, Amanda, Ian, and Daniel. John went to high school in Evanston, IL. He earned a BSEE from Northwestern University and a JD from DePaul College of Law. He retired from his 43 year career at Zenith Electronics in 1991 as Director of Patents and VP Consumer Affairs. The family lived in Barrington, IL from 1969 until 1992 when John and Sheila moved to Tucson. John was a very active volunteer small business counselor with SCORE for ten years. A Celebration of John's life will be held at Oro Valley Country Club on Thursday, August 15, 2013. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Casa de la Luz, www.casahospice.com.
