Evanston City officials and Priorities?

Could someone please explain to me just what the priorities are of our elected city officials and city manager?

What do I mean? Let me count some of the ways:

* Offering money, tax breaks and other financial incentives to keep Piven Theater in place at Noyes Cultural Arts Center.

* Potentially giving away the Harley Clarke mansion for nothing, while in the process, potentially disrupting and destroying the sanctity of one of Evanston's treasures; the Lighthouse beach lakefront. (Mind you, doing all of this while holding private, questionable meetings with the potential buyer.)

* Certain Alderpersons accepting donations to their election campaigns from the same prospective buyer of Harley Clarke, and not seeing anything wrong with it?

* Worrying about drones over Evanston, when we have children and people falling to violence in the streets of our own town, right around and in front of ETHS?

Have any of these same elected officials recognized that we have rampant gun violence within he 5th Ward and surrounding our town's High School? Just what is the plan of action and where are the meetings and discussions about this?  (Back door/closed door meetings not withstanding!)

All of the Alderpersons and Mayor were elected to represent and protect the interests of their wards.  Holding back door meetings and pushing their own personal interests and agendas, is not acting in the best interests of your constituency.

To all Evanston elected City Officials: Just what are your priorities here?
