$10,000 In Collectible Coins Stolen on Central Street

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

$10,000 In Collectible Coins Stolen on Central
Someone stole two boxes containing 800 to 1,000 collectible Morgan Liberty coins from the 1900 block of Central Street at 5:14 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, according to police. The coins are valued at $10,000 to $12,000. 

Evanston Man Charged With Disorderly Conduct
Terrence Martin Toohey, 48, of the 800 block of Hinman Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at 5:26 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue, according to police. 

Roof Rack, Road Tires Stolen From Vehicles
Someone stole the roof rack from a 2006 Toyota parked in the 2200 block of Cleveland Street at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, according to police. 

Someone stole two road tires and aluminum wheel runs from a 2010 Honda Fit parked in the 1200 block of Maple Avenue between 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, and 4 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, according to police. 

Car Burglar Steals Cash On Brummel
Someone stole cash from a 2008 Audi that was left unlocked in the 700 block of Brummel Street between 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, and 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, according to police. 

Package Stolen on Greenwood
Someone stole a package containing a cell phone that was delivered to the 1600 block of Greenwood Street at 1:24 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, according to police. 

Graffiti Appears on Dodge
Graffiti appeared on a garage in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue between 12 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, and 9:40 a.m. Monday, Jan. 27, according to police.
