3 Charged With DUI Over Thanksgiving

The information in this blotter was reported by Evanston Police on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013. Where arrests are included, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Arrests: DUI, Domestic Battery
A 24-year-old Chicago woman was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26.

Latasha Cor'Don Anderson-Walker, 30, of the 1400 block of West Sherwin in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 7:09 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, police reported.

Tiana R. Banks, 20, of the 1900 block of Grey Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at 1:39 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue, according to police. 

Raina Patrice Lemons, 42, of the 2300 block of Emerson Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 3:35 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, in the 1500 block of Ridge Avenue, police reported.

A 36-year-old Evanston man was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, according to police.

Branson Rey McQuinn, 21, of the 1300 block of Oak Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property after he broke the window of a chain restaurant in the 1800 block of Dempster Street between 12:25 and 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, according to police.

Cesar E. Nunez, 69, of the 5000 block of North Spaulding in Chicago, was arrested and charged with theft in the 2400 block of Main Street in Evanston at 9:21 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, police reported.

Carlos Francisco Patino, 20, of the 2000 block of Dobson Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with violating an order of protection at 12:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, in the 2000 block of Howard Street, according to police.

An 18-year-old Evanston resident was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, according to police.

Francois Auguste Remy, 70, of the 1800 block of Lyons Street, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 7:51 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Darrow Avenue and Church Street, police reported. 

Thief Steals Ford Mustang on Fowler
Someone stole a two-door black 2000 Ford Mustang from the 1200 block of Fowler Avenue at 5:35 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, according to police. The license plate is S220430.

Gunfire Reported on Dodge
Evanston police investigated a report that someone fired a gun in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue around 12:23 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1. Nothing was found in the area.

Burglars Steal Laptops, Jewelry
Someone forced open the backdoor of a home in the 900 block of Ridge Avenue and stole a Macbook laptop computer and Toshiba laptop computer between 12:26 and 12:31 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, police reported. 

Someone entered through a boarded up window in the back of a home in the 2100 block of Emerson Street and stole jewelry, an Emerson box-style TV, Craftsman blower and Craftsman lawnmower between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, according to police.

Would-Be Buyer Steals Cell Phone
Someone made arrangements to sell their phone, but when they handed it over to the would-be buyer, he took the phone and ran off without paying at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue, police reported.

Bike Stolen on Chicago
Someone stole a Trek bicycle that was locked to a rack in the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue between 11 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, police reported.

Thief Takes Copper Downspout
Someone stole pieces of a copper downspout from a home in the 1400 block of Judson Avenue between midnight Sunday, Nov. 24, and 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, according to police. 

Thieves Steal Cash, Wallet, Keys
Someone stole cash that was left unattended at a school in the 1200 block of Davis Street between 7 and 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, according to police.
Someone stole a wallet that was left unattended at a building in the 1800 block of Sheridan Road at 3:50 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, police reported. 

A woman stole a set of keys from an apartment in the 1600 block of Emerson Street between 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and 10:50 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, police reported. 

Lawn Chairs Swiped On Lincolnwood
Someone stole lawn chairs from a yard in the 2600 block of Lincolnwood Drive at 6:46 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27, according to police.

Criminal Damage to Property
Someone broke the window of a home in the 600 block of South Boulevard between 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, police reported.

Someone damaged the sunroof of a 2004 Jaguar parked in the 300 block of Lee Street between 9 and 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, according to police. 

Someone slashed the tires of a 1996 Chrysler parked in the 1800 block of Lyons Street between 5:26 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, and 5:20 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, police reported. 

Man Steals Food on Dempster
A man stole food from a chain restaurant in the 1900 block of Dempster Street around 6:05 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29, according to police.
