Another Punch in the Face, Wallet Stolen from Picnic Table

The following incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Aggravated Assault

Four shots were fired at a residence near a 2003 Ford in the 1800 block of Grey Ave. on Sept. 20 at 3:11 a.m. The offender is described as a male.

Battery

A victim in a 2006 Ford was punched in the face in the 100 block of Asbury Ave. on Sept. 18 at 12:11 p.m. The offender is described as a white male, standing six feet tall and weighing 200 pounds.

Burglary

A Cannondale bicycle was stolen from a garage in the 1600 block of Ridge Ave. on Sept. 19 between 9:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. The garage door was reportedly unlocked at the time of the theft. 

A wallet along with its contents was stolen from a garage in the 1100 block of Foster Ave. on Sept. 17 at 12:55 p.m. The garage door was reportedly unlocked at the time of the theft.

Burglary from a Motor Vehicle

A wallet was stolen from a 2006 Volvo parked on the street in the 1600 block of Fowler Ave. on Sept. 19 sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The door of the vehicle was reportedly unlocked at the time of the theft. 

Criminal Damage

Graffiti was observed in a park in the 500 block of Asbury on Sept. 19 at 4:36 p.m. 

Shots Fired/Individual With a Gun

An emergency call reported shots fired and an individual with a gun at Monroe and Dewey Ave. on Sept. 19 at 3:28 p.m. Police checked the area and found nothing. 

Theft Over $500

A Gary Fisher men's bicycle and a Trek women's bicycle were stolen from an apartment storage locker in the 2100 block of Ridge Ave. sometime between Sept. 8 and Sept. 12. The storage space was reportedly locked at the time of the theft. 

Theft Under $500

An unattended wallet along with its contents were stolen from a picnic table in the 1400 block of Sheridan Rd. on Sept. 17 at 1 p.m.
