Blotter: 2 Charged With DUI, Auto Theft on Chicago

Shots Fired at Kedzie and Sheridan
Police investigated a report that a man fired a gun in Clark Square Park at 4:37 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5. Nothing was found in the area.

William Franklin Dagley, 53, of the 300 block of Locust Street in San Rafael, CA, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 10:59 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Sheridan Road and Jonquil Terrace, police reported.
Pavel Shostak, 30, of the 2300 block of Central Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 1:06 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, in the 1000 block of Chicago Avenue, according to police.

Unlawful Use of a Weapon
Desmond Antonio Pruitt Jr., 19, of the 1400 block of Brummel Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon at 9:18 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, in the 800 block of Sheridan Road, police reported.
Car Stolen On Chicago Avenue
Someone stole a gray 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan SUV from the parking lot of a business in the 1000 block of Chicago Avenue at 10:21 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, according to police.
Burglary on Oak Avenue
Someone stole gold and silver watches with metal and leather bands by entering the unlocked rear door of an apartment in the 1100 block of Oak Avenue between 1:30 and 5:15 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, police reported.
Theft: Deodorant, Push Mower, Watches, Etc.
A woman stole DVDs, deodorant, a flat iron, a pair of shoes, pants, a shirt, a Link card, a WIC card, baby bottles and a social security card from an apartment in the 1800 block of Crain Street between 11 and 6 p.m. Monday, July 23, police reported.
Someone stole a push mower that was left unattended in a yard in the 1800 block of Brummel Street between 9:40 and 9:40 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, police reported.
A woman stole two men’s gold watches, a tax receipt and a vehicle sticker from a home in the 2000 block of Church Street between midnight and 6 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, according to police.
Criminal Damage to Property
Someone damaged the padlock on the back gate of a home in the 400 block of Darrow Avenue between 9:32 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, and 8:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, police reported.
