Armed Robbery off Dobson Street

Two men held a weapon to their victim’s head and stole cash in an alley in the 700 block of Dobson Street around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, according to police.

Someone stole two 13” Apple MacBook computers from an office building in the 1600 block of Orrington Avenue between Friday, July 6, and Monday, July 9, according to police.

Two Women Swipe Marc Jacobs Wallet from Purse

Two women stole a black Marc Jacob wallet and its contents from a purse in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue around 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, police reported. 

Seat Stolen, Bike Left Behind

Someone stole a seat with a fender and some bicycle parts from a bike at a storage rack in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, police reported. 

Public Possession of Alcohol

Hazel M. Downs, 60, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of alcohol in a public way at 4:55 p.m. Wedneday, July 11, in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue, according to police.
