Blotter: Auto Stolen on Hartrey, Smirnoff Thief Strikes Twice

Ford Taurus Stolen From Hartrey Avenue

Someone stole a 1997 dark red Ford Taurus from the parking lot of a business in the 1200 block of Hartrey Avenue between 4 p.m. Thursday, July 12, and noon on Tuesday, July 17, police reported. 

Endangering the Life of a Child

Marcela Flores, 41, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with endangering the life of a child at 3:44 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, in the 1400 block of Elmwood Avenue, according to police.

Home Burglary on McDaniel Avenue, Brown Avenue

Someone stole white and blue Jordan shoes, clothing, Sony electronics, a Dell laptop computer and a Hewlett Packard laptop computer from a home in the 1000 block of McDaniel Avenue between 2:45 and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, according to police.   

Someone stole an XBox 2 gaming system and Samsung 32-inch television from a home in the 1900 block of Brown Avenue at 11:46 p.m. Monday, July 16, police reported. 

Car Burglary on Maple Avenue

Someone robbed an unlocked 2004 Toyota Corolla parked in the 1000 block of Maple Avneue between 5 and 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, according to police. It is unknown what was taken at this time. 

Smirnoff Stolen Twice on Green Bay Road

A man stole a 1.75 liter bottle of Smirnoff liquor from a store in the 2700 block of Green Bay Road between 10:45 and 11 a.m. Sunday, July 15.

In a separate incident, a man matching the same description as the first stole another 1.75 liter bottle of Smirnoff liquor from a store in the 2700 block of Green Bay Road between 11:08 and 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 17. 

Criminal Damage to Property

Someone damaged the main door of the common area in an apartment building in the 900 block of Hinman Avenue between 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 15, and 5:30 p.m. Monday, July 16, according to police.

Criminal Defacement of Property

Sean Takeshi Frumkin, 19, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with criminal defacement of property at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, in the 800 block of Dewey Avenue, police reported.
