A man hit another person in the face around 5:13 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at the intersection of Monroe Street and Ridge Avenue, according to police.

A man pried open the lobby door of an apartment building in the 1700 block of Chicago Avenue and stole a Diamondback women’s mountain bike from the common area around 4:45 a.m. Friday, July 13, police reported.

Someone stole cash from an unlocked 2005 Honda parked in the 1100 block of Cleveland Street at 3:37 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, according to police.

Someone stole a GPS and car manual from an unlocked 2010 Ford parked in the 1300 block of Dodge Avenue around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, police reported. 

Driving With an Open Container of Alcohol

Justin L. Bledsoe, 28, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with transporting an open container of alcohol in a vehicle in the 1100 block of Fowler Avenue at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, according to police. 

Criminal Trespassing

Isiah Alexander Irving, 21, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass to real property in the 1800 block of Lyons Street at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, police reported. 

Three Cleveland Street Garages Get Graffiti-ed

Police investigated three instances of graffiti that appeared on three garages in the 1000 block of Cleveland Street between 5:45 and 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, according to police.

Damaged Property on Judson and Grey

Someone damaged a pump and plants in the yard of a home in the 1200 block of Judson Avenue between noon Monday, July 16, and 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, police reported.  

Two men damaged the front windows of a home in the 1800 block of Grey Avenue sometime between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, according to police.
