Burglary Steals Computers, Wallets
Someone stole an IBM laptop computer, Dell laptop computer, cash, Samsung cell phone and two wallets from an unlocked apartment in the 1600 block of Ridge Avenue between 11 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14 and 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, police reported.

Someone stole an Apple iPhone and a white metal Lacoste wristwatch with a green alligator on the face from an unlocked gym locker in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 6:30 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, according to police.

Someone stole a catalytic converter from a 2000 Toyota parked in the 100 block of Dodge Avenue between 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, and 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, according to police.
Bike Stolen On Main Street
Someone stole a black and grey-striped 2008 Gary Fischer mountain bicycle that was left unlocked in the 800 block of Main Street between 2:40 and 2:42 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, police reported.
Burglary From a Motor Vehicle
Someone stole an Apple iPod and brown Traveler’s briefcase including its contents from a 2010 Subaru that was left unlocked in the 500 block of Judson Avenue between 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, and 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, according to police.
Man Arrested For Alcohol-Related Offense
Jerome Smith, 58, of the 800 block of Bellflower Lane in Bolingbrook, was arrested and charged with an alcohol-related offense in the 700 block of Howard Street at 7:29 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, police reported.
Graffiti Found on Asbury Avenue
Police discovered graffiti on a business in the 400 block of Asbury Avenue at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, police reported.
