Two people ordered their victim to exit a vehicle, then took off with it at 9:37 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at the intersection of Church Street and Dodge Avenue, police reported. 

Man Charged With Criminal Sexual Abuse

Rubin A. Saldana Jr., 36, of the 4900 block of Oakton Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with criminal sexual abuse in the 1400 block of Elmwood Avenue at 9:05 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, police reported.

Man Arrested For Delivery of Cannabis

Lemorne Bedward Cole, 23, of the 1800 block of Ashland Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with delivery of cannabis in the 1400 block of Emerson Street at 4:50 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, police reported. 

Man Hits Victim in the Mouth On Cleveland

A man hit someone in the mouth in the 1600 block of Cleveland Street around 1:16 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, according to police. 

Woman Arrested For Battery on Asbury

Claudette Nita Hampton, 21, of the 700 block of North Annie Glidden in DeKalb, was arrested and charged with battery in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue at 4:40 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, police reported. 

Man Arrested for Retail Theft on Hinman

Jimmie L. Williams, 54, of the 1500 block of Chicago Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with retail theft in the 1100 block of Hinman Avenue at 9:33 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, police reported. 

Woman Arrested For Violating an Order of Protection

Patricia A. Witt, 72, of the 2500 block of Prairie Avenue in Evansotn, was arrested and charged with violating an order of protection at Prairie Avenue and Lincoln Street at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, according to police. 

Burglary Reported on Roslyn Place

Someone stole a black and brown Eric Javits basket weave purse with its contents and an AT&T cell phone from an unlocked home in the 700 block of Roslyn Place between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, police reported. 

Thief Swipes Coach Wallet at Mental Health Institution

Someone stole a Coach wallet with its contents from a purse at a mental health institution in the 900 block of Maple Avenue between 11 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, and 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, according to police. 

Two Catalytic Converters Stolen

Someone stole a catalytic converter from a 2000 Toyota parked in the 1600 block of Cleveland Street between 1:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13, police reported.
