The headline regarding the stolen Cocker Spaniel... "Bad Criminal, Bad!" was pretty cold and heartless. This may not have been a child abduction. But, I'm sure to the devastated family, it was a member of the family that was abducted. This should never be treated so callously.

Dana, I'm a dog lover myself and would be devastated if my pet went missing. Did you object to "stolen" or referencing the dog in the headline itself? We certainly didn't intend to offend anyone; we're simply using the specific classifications supplied by police.
