Theft
The gas cap on a black Honda motorcycle was stolen while it was parked in a parking lot on the 1500 block of Sherman Avenue July 8 around 1:30 p.m.
Someone stole Ohio license plates from a car parked in a parking lot in the 1900 block of Emerson around 9 a.m. July 1.

An unlocked green Columbia bicycle was stolen from the common area of an apartment building in the 700 block of Mulford Street around noon on July 8.
Shots fired

Police received a report of shots fired July 8 around 4 p.m. at the corner of Mulford and Elmwood. Police investigated but found nothing.
Assault
Hector Hernandez, 21, of Winthrop Harbor, was arrested for assault on July 8 at 6:45 p.m. in the 1900 block of Dempster
Graffiti
Someone wrote graffiti on the 2400 block of Ewing Avenue around 8:30 a.m. July 6.
Criminal damage to property
Someone damaged the door of a home on the 1700 block of Grey Avenue between 8:30 a.m. July 8 and just before 1 a.m. July 9.
