Blotter: Keg and 30 Bottles of Alcohol Stolen from Bar

Burglary
A keg of beer and 30 bottles of other alcohol were stolen along with a cash register and cash from a bar in the 600 block of Howard Street between July 1 and July 9.
A red vintage ladies bike was stolen from a storage locker in an apartment building in the 400 block of Sheridan Road between July 6 and July 9.

A woman’s bicycle was stolen from a home in the 700 block of Seward Street between July 6 and July 9.
A laptop and tablet computer were stolen from an office building in the 1300 block of Sherman Avenue between July 5 and July 8.

A men’s Trek bike was stolen from a garage after the garage door was broken in the 2600 block of Thayer between July 3 and July 4.
Armed robbery
Harry Paul Jackson, 44, of Des Plaines, was arrested July 8 for armed robbery.
Shots fired
Police responded to a report of shots fired at Grey and Lake at 9 p.m. July 9. They searched the area but nothing was found.
Auto theft
Someone stole a 1998 Honda from the street in the 1700 block of Madison Street between 3:30 and 4 p.m. July 9.
A 2010 Mazda was stolen from the street in the 1000 block of Grove Street at 9:30 p.m. July 9.
Battery
Robert E. Belisle, 47, of Evanston, was arrested for battery July 9.
Theft
Checks and a money order were stolen from an apartment in the 1700 block of Madison Street between July 1 and July 9.
An unlocked green and silver bicycle was stolen from the 1600 block of Foster Street at 8 p.m. July 9.
Criminal damage to property
Graffiti was written on the sidewalk in the 2600 block of Prospect Avenue around 11 a.m. July 9.
Disorderly conduct
Charles Lee Smith, 60, of Chicago was arrested July 8 for disorderly conduct.
