Unlawful Use of a Weapon

Sean D. Rattray, 27, was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon at 12:50 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, in the 800 block of Dodge Avenue, police reported.

Prentice Floyde Phillips, 47, was arrested and charged with battery at 11:21 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, in the 900 block of Ridge Avenue, according to police.

A man hit another person in the abdomen at a bar located in the 1400 block of Sherman Avenue during the early hours of Wednesday, July 4, police reported.

Criminal Damage to a Vehicle

Someone damage the windshield of a car parked in the 1200 block of Lake Shore Boulevard on Thursday, July 5, according to police.

Theft Under $500

A blackberry cell phone was stolen from the counter of a restaurant located in the 600 block of Davis Street during the afternoon of Thursday, July 5, police reported.

A woman stole an undisclosed amount of cash and five sets of keys from a private residence located in the 2000 block of Church Street sometime in the early hours of Friday, July 6, according to police.

Burglary from a Motor Vehicle

Someone stole a GPS device, an FM transmitter and a cell phone charger from a car parked in the 2000 block of Howard Street sometime between Tuesday, July 3 and Wednesday, July 4, police reported.

Telephone Harassment

Patricia A. Witt, 72, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with telephone harassment at 8:25 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4, in the 2500 block of Prairie Avenue, according to police.
