Battery on Emerson Avenue

One woman hit someone on the right shoulder and the left hand in the parking lot of a business in the 800 block of Emerson Avenue around 2 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, police reported. 

Two Domestic Battery Arrests

Two men were arrested and charged with domestic battery in separate incidents that took place on Eastwood and Darrow avenues Friday, July 6, and Monday, July 9, according to police.

Joshua Richard Albanese, 30, of Crown Point, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence around 2:30 a.m. Monday, July 9, in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue, according to police. 

Michael L. Holland, 52, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence around 10:45 p.m. Sunday, July 8, in the 2000 block of Asbury Avenue, according to police. 

Attempted Burglary on Brummel Street

Two men used a pry tool on the rear door of an apartment in the 600 block of Brummel Street around 10:45 a.m. Monday, July 9, police reported. 

Gold Jewelry Stolen From Two Homes

Someone stole a fireproof briefcase containing cash and jewelry, including thick gold chains, from an apartment in the 1700 block of Monroe Street during the night of Saturday, July 7, police reported.

Two men stole a yellow gold ring and a gold ring with garnet stone from the bedroom of a condominium in the 800 bock of Ridge Avenue during the afternoon of Monday, July 9, according to police. 

Motorcycle Stolen On Brown Avenue

Someone stole a blue, 2010 Kawaski motorcycle from the 1700 block of Brown Avenue at 10 p.m. Sunday, July 8, police reported. 

Bike Stolen on Foster Street

A man stole a yellow and black mountain bike that had been left unlocked in the common area of an apartment in the 1000 block of Foster Street at 2:13 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, police reported. 

Stolen Electronics on Dobson Street

Someone stole Microsoft electronics from the bedroom of an apartment in the 700 block of Dobson Street around 12:30 a.m. Sunday, July 8, according to police. 

Patio Chairs Locked Down, Still Stolen

Someone stole metal patio chairs that had been locked to a table from a hotel in the 1500 block of Oak Avenue during the night of Sunday, July 8, police reported. 

Possession of Cannabis

James Earl Bates, 52, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis around 6:20 p.m. Monday, July 9, in the 3300 block of McCormick Boulevard, according to police.

Antonio Deandre Scott, 21, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis in the 3300 block of Dempster Street arund 6:20 p.m. Monday, July 9, according to police.

Criminal Damage to a Watermelon Display

A woman knocked over the watermelon display in a grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 10:25 p.m. Monday, July 9, police reported. 

Criminal Damage to a Vehicle

Someone scratched the hood of a 2003 Ford parked in the 2200 block of Dempster Street between June 25 and July 9, according to police. 

Clarence Cavines, 36, of Evanston, was arrested in the 2100 block of Church Street after he allegedly damaged the rear passenger side door of a 2003 Jaguar at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5, according to police.
