A man grabbed and pushed another person in the 1000 block of Florence Avenue just before midnight Monday, July 2, according to police.

Driving Under the Influence

Daniel Mejia, 23, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence around 6 a.m. Sunday, July 1, in the 1600 block of Brummel Street, according to police.

Violating an Order of Protection

James Crawford Richmond, 52, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with violating an order of protection in the 1900 block of Dodge Avenue around 8 p.m. Sunday, July 1, police reported.

Obstructing Justice on Howard and Dodge

Jaime Tellez, 24, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice in the 1900 block of Howard Street around 1 a.m. Sunday, July 1, according to police. 

Macksantino Webb, 36, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice in the 900 block of Dodge Avenue around noon Saturday, June 30, according to police.

Resisting Police on Dobson Street

Calvin Lee Walker, 27, of Evanston, was arrested and charged with resisting police Monday, July 2, in the 900 block of Dobson Street, according to police. 

Residential Burglary on Milburn and Leland

A AAA card and State Farm proof of insurance documents were stolen from an unlocked garage in the 600 block of Milburn Street during the night of Sunday, July 1, police reported. 

A man entered a home in the 1700 block of Leland Avenue through an unlocked window during the afternoon of Monday, July 2, according to police. It is not known whether anything was missing.

Vehicle Burglarized on Green Bay Road

A Dell laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked 1991 Honda parked in the lot of a business in the 2100 block of Green Bay Road during the morning of Friday, June 29, according to police. 

Theft Over $500

A man stole an Apple iPhone 4s with black case and $20 in cash from a backpack left in a public building in the 1700 block of Main Street around 4 p.m. Sunday, July 1, police reported.

A wallet and its contents, including cash, was stolen from a hospital in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue during the evening of Saturday, June 30, according to police. 

Theft Under $500

An Apple cell phone was taken off a table in an office building in the 1500 block of McDaniel Avenue during the afternoon of Monday, July 2, police reported.

Two men stole two toilet flush valves from the restroom of a restaurant in the 1100 block of Howard Street around 3 p.m. Sunday, July 1, according to police. 

Clarence Eugene Wilson, 58, of Darrow Avenue, was arrested and charged with theft under $500 in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue around 5 p.m. Saturday, June 30, according to police.

Retail Theft on Howard Street

Leticia Irma Duarte, 47, of Chicago, was arrested and charged with retail theft after she allegedly stole clothing from a department store in the 2200 block of Howard Street around 6 p.m. Monday, July 2, according to police.

Property Damage on Dewey Avenue

Someone damaged a garbage can around 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 2, in the 2100 block of Dewey Avenue, according to police. 

Graffiti on Payne Street

Graffiti was found on a public sidewalk in the 2800 block of Payne Street, according to police.
