A woman stole a Denver boot—a device often used by municipal governments to immobilize cars with unpaid parking tickets—from a car parked in the 300 block of Callan Street, according to police.

BMW Burglarized on Dewey Avenue
Someone burglarized a 1992 BMW that was left unlocked in the parking lot of a business in the 2000 block of Dewey Avenue between 9:45 and 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, according to police.
Tires Slashed On Grey Avenue
A woman slashed all four tires of a 1999 Chrysler parked in the 1400 block of Grey Avenue between 11 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, and 1 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, according to police.
