A man broke the window of a pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue and stole Marlboro Lights at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, according to police.

Bike Stolen From Storage Area
Someone stole a Gary Fisher men’s mountain bike from the common storage area of an apartment building in the 1200 block of Elmwood Avenue between 9:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, police reported.

Laptop Stolen From School Desk
Someone stole a white Mac laptop computer from a desk in a school in the 1600 block of Dodge Avenue between 2:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, and 4:51 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, according to police.
Man Charged With Stealing Alcohol
Kostadin B. Minchev, 23, of the 7900 block of Karlov in Skokie, was arrested and charged with retail theft after he stole alcohol from the Jewel-Osco at 2485 Howard St. at 4:56 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, according to police.
