Burglaries Reported On Ridge, Asbury

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department: 

Burglar Breaks Door, Steals Jewelry

Someone broke the door of a home in the 900 block of Ridge Court between 7:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, and stole jewelry, according to police.

Garage Break-ins Reported On Asbury

Someone broke the door of a garage in the 1800 block of Asbury between 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, and 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, according to police. During the same time period, someone used a tool to enter another garage in the same block, police said. Nothing was reported missing.

Car Burglar Steals GPS, Purse

Someone broke the window of a 1997 Mercedes-Benz that was parked in the 900 block of Edgemere Court between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17, and stole cash, a black Garmin GPS and a black and white purse, according to police.

Thief Steals Watch, Bike Parts From Apartment Common Area

Someone stole a waterproof Casio men’s watch and a size 700 C bike tire and wheel from the common area of an apartment in the 800 block of Case Street between Dec. 3 and 13, according to police. 

Bike Stolen On Benson

Someone stole a blue K2 men’s mountain bicycle that was locked up in the 1700 block of Benson Avenue at 3:36 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, police reported. 

Cash Stolen From Business

Someone stole cash from a business in the 1400 block of Chicago Avneue between 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, and 1 pm. Sunday, Dec. 16, according to police.
