Leodis Blackburn, the Best Taxi cab driver who , has died.
Blackburn was pronounced dead late Wednesday, according to the Evanston Police Department.
Blackburn had been in the hospital on life support after the shooting early Sunday morning, which occurred on the 500 block of Elmwood in Evanston. Police responded to a call reporting that the car had struck another call, and once they got on the scene they saw that the driver had been shot in the head.

It is not known if the driver was shot by a passenger or a person on the street.
