Man Charged With Possession of Cannabis

John A. Cogan, 18, of the 2300 block of Ewing Avenue in Evanston was charged with possession of cannabis after an incident at the 1200 block of Washington Street at 11:37 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, police reported.

Tyree Kaheem Crosby, 23, of the 900 block of Dobson Street in Evanston was charged with battery after an incident at 1811 Davis Street in Evanston at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27, police reported.

Myles C. Dooley, 19, of the 200 block of Lake Street in Evanston was charged with illegal consumption of liquor as a minor after an incident on the 1200 block of Washington Street at 11:37 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, police reported.

Raymond Kyle Pigozzi, 18, of the 1700 block of Wesley Avenue in Evanston was charged with illegal consumption of liquor as a minor after an incident on the 1200 block of Washington Street at 11:37 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26, police reported.

Burglar Steals Clothes and Electronics From Car

An individual reported clothing, an MP3 player and headphones were stolen from a parked unlocked vehicle in the 1800 block of Washington Street sometime between 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26th and Thursday, December 27, according to police.

Car Window Broken

An individual reported a car window broken on the 1600 block of Oakton Street sometime between 12:48 p.m. on Thursday, December 27 and 2:48 a.m. on Friday, December 28, according to police.

Car Window Defaced

An individual reported a car window defaced when letters were written on it on the 1300 block of Sherman Avenue sometime between 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 26 and 2:12 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, according to police.

Tires Reported Flattened

An individual reported car tires were flattened on the 2200 block of Crain Street sometime between 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 25 and 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 26, according to police.

License Plate Stolen

A license plate was stolen from a car parked on the 1400 block of Darrow Avenue sometime between 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 25 and 3:29 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, according to police.

Graffiti Found at Business

Someone defaced a property with graffiti on the 700 block of Howard Street sometime at Wednesday, December 26, according to police.

Simple Battery Reported

An individual reported a battery that involved being kicked and punched by the offender at 2:10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, according to police who are looking for a suspect as an Asian male with an approximate height of 5’7” and weighing 200 pounds. 

Cell Phone Taken From Individual

A cell phone was reported stolen from an individual in the 1300 block of Washington Street sometime between 10:00 and 11:10 pm on Wednesday, December 26, police said.

Cell Phone Robbed from Individual

A cell phone was taken from an individual at the intersection of Callan and Brummel Street on Dec. 25, police said, according to police who say the offender claimed gang symbols were displayed at the time of the robbery.

Tires Punctured on Car

Tires were punctured on a car parked in the 1200 block of Oak Avenue sometime between 10:00 PM on December 25 and 8:40 AM on December 26. No suspect has been identified, according to police.

Tires Slashed on Car

Tires were slashed on a car parked in the 300 block of Callan Avenue at 11:15 AM on Wednesday, December 26, according to police who identified a suspect as a black female with a height of approximate 5’4” and weighed approximately 200 pounds.
