Car Burglar Steals Stereo, Subwoofer, Car Seat

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Burglar Steals Macbook on Washington
A man stole a white Apple macbook laptop with a decal of a businessman by entering the unlocked window of an apartment in the 900 block of Washington Street at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, according to police.

Car Burglar Takes Stereo, Subwoofers, Car Seat
Someone broke the window of a 1999 Honda parked in the 200 block of Callan Avenue and stole a Pioneer car stereo, Alpine subwoofer speaker, an amplifier, HTC smart cell phone and car seat between 10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, and 8:10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, according to police.

Arrests: Disorderly Conduct, Disobeying Police
Travel Tra'kee Mannie, 24, of the 1600 block of West Essex in Chicago, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, in the 1700 block of Ridge Avenue, according to police.

Jerome Smith, 55, who did not supply a place of residence to police, was arrested and charged with disobeying police at 4:38 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, in the 100 block of Callan Avenue, according to police. 

Thieves Steal White Owl Cigars
Two men stole White Owl cigars from a convenience store in the 800 block of Dodge Avenue at 9:53 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, police reported.

Wallet Stolen From Evanston Hospital
Someone stole a wallet that had been left unattended at a hospital in the 2600 block of Ridge Avenue at 12 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, according to police. 

Vandal Breaks Glass Door on Howard
Someone broke the glass door of a business in the 600 block of Howard Street between 11 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, and 6:50 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, police reported. 

Graffiti Appears on Main, Ridge
Graffiti appeared on a traffic control box in the 1100 block of Main Street at 2:46 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, according to police.

Graffiti appeared in an apartment or condo common area in the 800 block of Ridge Avenue at 2:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, police reported.
