Car Burglaries On Washington, Greenwood, Cowper

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department.

Arrests: DUI, Retail Theft, Disobedience to Police

Zachary A. Cavalier, 18, of the 2500 block of Jackson in Evanston, was arrested and charged with disobedience to police at 1:11 a.m. Thursday, May 30, in the 2600 block of Sheridan Road, according to police.

Donald L. Fox, 26, of the 6700 block of North Ravenswood Avenue in Chicago, and Donjae A. Jasper, 22, of the 7700 block of North Paulina in Chicago, were both arrested and each charged with three counts of retail theft at 2:26 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, in the 2400 block of Main Street, according to police.

Vincent Leon Jackson, 20, of the 7300 block of North Hoyne in Chicago, was arrested and charged with reckless conduct at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, in the 800 block of Oakton Street, according to police. 

Marin B. Patterson, 26, of the 1000 block of Grove Street, was arrested and charged with retail theft at 3:10 p.m. Monday, May 27, in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue, according to police.

J Enrri Renteria-Canchola, 47, of the 1200 block of Fowler in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at his home at 1:47 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, according to police. 

Car Burglaries On Washington, Greenwood, Cowper

Two men entered an unlocked 1997 GMC in the 2000 block of Washington Street around 8:20 p.m. Sunday, May 26, according to police. Nothing was reported missing.

Two men stole a purse and its contents from an unlocked 2003 Honda parked in the 2100 block of Washington Street between 8:30 and 8:51 p.m. Sunday, May 26, police reported. 

Two men stole a Sprint black Palm Pre cell phone from an unlocked 2009 Mitsubishi parked in the 1700 block of Greenwood Street around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 26, according to police.

Someone entered a 2000 Volkswagen parked in the 2400 block of Cowper Avenue between 3 p.m. Sunday, May 26, and 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, according to police. 

Garage Burglar Steals Bike On Hastings

Someone stole a 24-inch Trek boys mountain bicycle from an open garage in the 2300 block of Hastings Avenue between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 27, police reported.

Bikes Stolen From Tree On Central

Someone stole a Mongoose and Huffy bicycle that were locked to a tree in the 1500 block of Central Street between 8:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, according to police.

Cell Phone Stolen From Business

A man stole a Samsung cell phone in a blue case from a business place in the 300 block of Howard Street at 9:52 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, police reported. 

Criminal Damage to Property

Someone damaged the sign and door of an apartment or condo common area in the 100 block of Dodge Avenue around 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, according to police.

Someone shattered the rear windshield of a 2001 Mitsubishi parked in the 600 block of Oakton Street between 7 p.m. Saturday, May 25, and 7 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, according to police.

Someone smashed the rear passenger window of a 2007 Acura parked in the 900 block of Judson Avenue between midnight and 6:42 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, police reported.
