Car Burglars Hit Marcy, Lincolnwood

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Car Burglars Hit Marcy, Lincolnwood
Someone entered an unlocked 2002 Ford parked in a driveway in the 2500 block of Marcy Avenue between 8:23 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, and 9:48 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, according to police.

Someone stole coins from an unlocked 2008 Nissan parked in the 2100 block of Lincolnwood Drive between 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, and 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, according to police.

Arrests: Possession of Cannabis, Domestic Battery
Pierre L. Brown, 24, of the 100 block of Custer Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, in the 1400 block of Howard Street.

A 25-year-old Evanston man was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, police reported. 

Thieves Swipes Phone From 
Shirt Pocket
Two men stole a Samsung cell phone with blue cover from someone's shirt pocket at a convenience store in the 500 block of Main Street at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, according to police.

North Face Jacket Stolen On Church
Three men and a woman stole a large women's North Face winter jacket from a sporting goods store in the 900 block of Church Street at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, police reported. 

Bike Stolen On Maple
Someone stole a Raleigh bicycle with lots of stickers from an unlocked garage in the 2100 block of Maple Avenue between 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, and 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, according to police. 

Criminal Damage to Property
Someone damaged a statue in a yard in the 700 block of Sheridan Road between 12 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, according to police. 

Someone damaged the front brake of a bicycle in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue between 6:15 and 8:16 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, police reported. 

Someone snipped a strand of outdoor lights in a yard in the 3000 block of Hartzell Street between 6:50 p.m. Wedn v besday, Dec. 4, and 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, according to police.
