A car owner reported that an unknown person punctured his or her tire in the 800 block of Reba Place on April 2.

A Louis Vuitton purse - along with its contents - were reported stolen from a car parked in the 2200 block of Green Bay Road on April 1. The offender gained entry through a cracked window, the report stated.
Car burglar charged
Elmo S. Hatefield, 44, of Evanston, was charged with burglary from a motor vehicle on April 1. Hatefield was arrested in the 1600 block of Payne Street around 4:11 p.m., the report stated.
