Chinese Passports Stolen at CTA Station

The following arrests and incidents were reported by the Evanston Police Department:

Arrests: Battery, Alcohol
Ronnie B. Lee, 55, of the 1400 block of Chicago Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with violation of an alcohol ordinance at 3:07 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue, according to police. 

Derrick S. Pitts, 22, of the 1000 block of Main Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery at his home at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, police reported.

Chinese Passports Stolen at CTA Station
Someone stole an Apple laptop computer, wallet, two Chinese passports, a backpack and Apple cell phone at the CTA station in the 900 block of Noyes Street between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1, according to police. 

Fence Broken On Oakton
Someone broke a fence in the 2300 block of Oakton Street between Dec. 26 and 27, according to police.

Tire Flattened on Hinman
A woman flattened the tire of a 2010 Mazda parked in the 800 block of Hinman Avenue around 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, police reported.
