Equipment Stolen From Saint Francis Hospital

Retail theft

Police responded to a retail theft at a department store in the 2200 block of Howard Street on March 4. Missing from the store was a laptop. No arrests were made.

A symbol scanner used to scan wristbands was reported stolen from the emergency room of Saint Francis Hospital, 355 Ridge Ave. on March 6. The device was valued at more than $500, the report stated. 

Vehicle vandalism

A car parked in the 2000 block of Lake Street had its driver's side windows smashed by an unknown person(s) on March 7.

Stolen parking permit

A parking permit was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at the intersection of Gaffield and Maple avenues on March 7.
